Box Compression Tester

Box Compression Tester made of a set of plates one is attached to the load measuring arrangement and the other is movable plate which is move with the help of motor, gearbox, and screw and nut arrangement, the movable plate have the facility of over travel and under travel. The load measuring arrangement is digital type. The box of which the compression strength is to be determined is placed on the lower plate, due to the motion of the movable plate the box is compressed and the compression load is directly read out on the digital indicator on the panel. The deflection of the box also measured with the help of the digital deflection indicator. The instrument is made in two parts, one is for main instrument and the other is the control panel. The ultimate test is to determining overall quality and performance of the container. The instrument is bright chrome plating, zinc plating, painted in metallic paints. It is supplied complied with electrical which include micro-switches, Push buttons and contactors for safe and convenient operation.

Bursting Strength Tester Digital Type

Bursting strength tester of any material such as fabric, leather, paper, paper board & corrugated box etc. Its strength under multi- directional force and is defined, as the hydrostatic pressure required producing rapture of the material when pressure is applied at a controlled increasing rate through a rubber diaphragm. Bursting Strength Tester is designed to find bursting strength of fabric/leather/ paper/paper board & corrugated box. A test specimen is held between two annular clamps under sufficient pressure to minimize slippage. The clamping is done by hand wheel/screw arrangement or by pneumatic pressure with pressure gauge, solenoid valve and pressure regulator as per model. The upper clamping surface which is in contact with the test specimens has a continuous spiral grooves. A circular diaphragm of pure gum rubber is clamped between the lower clamping plate & pressure cylinder so that before the diaphragm is stretched by pressure underneath it the centre of its upper surface is below the plane of the clamping surface. The equipment is fitted with a motor driven screw mechanism, which increases fluid displacement on the lower side of the diaphragm at a specified rate. The equipment is fitted with an arrangement, which automatically brings down the pressure and stops the motor on completion of the test cycle. A maximum reading type pressure gauge (or pressure sensor and digital indicator with peak hold and tare facility in digital model) gives the bursting pressure. The equipment is raggedly designed to give a long & trouble free life. The components are brighter chrome plated or painted in metallic paint to give the tester an aesthetic appearance.

Drop Tester

Essential for quality control and development for consumers of corrugated and solid fibre board, shipping containers, bottles, filled bags etc. Drop test is intended for use in evaluating the capability of a container, corrugated box, filled bags, bottles and other similar items to with stand the sudden shock resulting from a free fall, or to evaluate the capability of these and its inner packing to protect its contents during the sudden shock resulting from a free fall. Drop test method may also be used to compare the performance of different package designs. This test method may also permit observation of the progressive failure of a these items and the damage to its contents. OPERATION: A box attached to a vertical column is provided with mechanism to release the resting table instantaneously. For easy adjustment of the drop heights this box is balanced by a counter-weight over a pulley. Package under test is placed on the resting table. By pressing the lever on the box, the package is allowed to fall on the platform at the bottom. The fall is straight and perfectly vertical. The machine is sturdy and easy to operate.

Cobb Tester

The resistance to water penetration is determined by the quantity of water absorbed by a paper or a board when one of its faces is placed in contact with this liquid, under the conditions. Cobb Tester consists of a brass (or gun metal) cylinder of known inside diameter and length. It has a metallic plate, which is used for clamping the one side of the cylinder with the help of bracket and bolts. The metallic plate, which is used for clamping purpose, is paste a rubber sheet for the perfect clamping. The whole assembly of the cylinder and clamping arrangement is pivoted so that easy and fast pour off the water takes place. A brass roller of specified size and shape is also provided with the instrument. COF Tester

COF tester –horizontal plane have a Sled of specified dimensions with a suitable eye screw fastened in one end for the holding to the load cell by a flexible nylon thread. There is a moving plane which is polished plastic, of specified dimensions. A smooth, flat piece of glass covers the upper surface of the plane. This provides a smooth support for the specimen. The plane moved with the help of the motor. The force is indicating on the digital display which indicates the frictional force. Thickness Tester

Determination of thickness of Film is considerable importance, both for assuring conformity with design parameters and for evaluation of various physical properties determination of thickness of Film sample in laboratory is usually carried out with the help of a bench thickness gauge .The Film component whose thickness is to be determined is kept on a flat anvil and a circular indenter is pressed onto it from the top under a specified pressure .the contact faces of the anvil and the indenter are ground flat and set in planes parallel to each other . Bench Thickness Gauge for Film consists of a digital micrometer fitted on a rigid metallic frame .the micrometer has a flat circular indenter, which exerts the specified pressure on the Film sample whose thickness is being measured through a dead weight .the paper sample is kept on an anvil, which is in from of a flat circular platform. The axis of the indenter and the anvil coincide and is the same as the axis of movement of the indenter. The indenter can be raised and lowered gently onto the Film sample with the help of a lifting lever.
